"Forgive and Forget" pays homage to Country and Western classics and tells a tale from the grave of a man with good intentions, lamenting his no good, cheatin, lyin, thieving ways. With equal doses of country twang, rootsy blues and rock n roll - the opening track from the forthcoming record brings together all the best elements of The Distant South. Violin, Banjo, Guitar, drums, bass, harmonies and hooks.

The lying, the cheating
The breakin’ of hearts
My resume’s steeped in shame

Last count I checked 
I’d left 94 jobs
